It's been almost three years since our dear friend Scott left us. Let's gather to eat some tailgating food, have some cold drinks, and share stories of our favorite NC State fan. All are welcome.

Feel free to park at the Eckerson’s driveway (5219 Melbourne Rd) and in the surrounding areas, then Uber/Lyft into the stadium area to join the tailgate.
We can shuttle a small group to and from the spot — but Uber/Lyft is probably your best bet.
Tailgate details
We've got a parking pass in Arena East 1551. The lots open about three hours before kickoff, so we're aiming to get rolling in the 4:30–5:00 range — come early and stay for the game, or swing by and head home whenever.
It's an evening tailgate, so we're looking into whether we can get a charcoal grill going to cook up some meats and do it right. Tentative until we've read the rulebook — check back.
Do I Need Tickets?
Nope.
We'll be tailgating regardless.
NC State kicks off against App State at 7:30 PM on Saturday, September 26, 2026. We'll be out at the tailgate from around 4:30–5:00 on, radio on, conversations abound. Only buy tickets if you'd like to attend the game.
We're actively scouting tickets — we've secured 2 tickets thus far. The tickets will probably get split between two people who want to go in, and right now they're going for about $100–$125 a piece.

What to Bring
We’ll have
- • A charcoal grill fired up to cook some meats — tentative, pending the stadium rulebook, but we're working on it
- • A Ranch bottle with a pump dispenser (IYKYK)
- • Coolers stocked with ice
