It's been almost three years since our dear friend Scott left us. Let's gather to eat some tailgating food, have some cold drinks, and share stories of our favorite NC State fan. All are welcome.

Feel free to park at the Eckerson’s driveway (5219 Melbourne Rd) and in the surrounding areas, then Uber/Lyft into the stadium area to join the tailgate.
Since we’ll be setting up before 10am, we can shuttle a small group to and from the spot — but Uber/Lyft is probably your best bet.

Do I Need Tickets?
Nope.
We’ll be tailgating regardless.
NC State plays App State on Saturday, September 26, 2026, but the kickoff time hasn’t been announced yet — it could be a noon game, a night game, or somewhere in between. Once we know, we’ll post it here.
Either way, folks will be out at the tailgate before and through game time with the radio on and conversations abound. Only buy tickets if you’d like to attend the game.
What to Bring
We’ll have
- • Breakfast casserole if it’s an early game, Bojangles if an afternoon game
- • A Ranch bottle with a pump dispenser (IYKYK)
- • Coolers stocked with ice
You bring
A side or drink to share that reminds you of Scott — or that everyone would enjoy. Or just bring yourself and wear some Wolfpack red.
